I love the beginning of a new year as it’s always filled with possibilities before reality kicks in and life gets in the way of best intentions!
Although I would like 2020 to be more about creativity rather than rushing to get things finished, I do have a couple of novels that I'd like to complete by the end of this year, as well as various short items to write and submit.
I also want to slow down a little and enjoy the creative process again, whether long or short pieces of writing. At least that’s the intention, although I suspect I work best to deadlines.
Last year, I received several creative and mindfulness book and journals to motivate and inspire. This year, I’m hoping to allow time to actually put more of the suggestions into practise, to help focus the mind on one thing at a time!
