Now that we’re gradually wandering into autumn with cooler temperatures and sunsets getting earlier, I’m focusing on the writing that needs to be finished before embarking on any new projects. That should keep me busy for a while!

I thought you might like to see a few photos from Vienna, where most of the story of new novella, Viennese Sonata, is set. It’s a beautiful city of history and music and is easy to walk around. I can confirm that the famous Sacher Torte is delicious.

Elisabeth’s first visit to the city sets her on a journey to discover a little about her great-grandmother’s past that involves an old violin. Unexpectedly, it leads to revelations and changes to her own and her grandmother’s lives.

Viennese Sonata, is now on a special 99p (99c) offer from 31 August through Sunday 6 September. Since it’s a short novella, I’ve also reduced the little paperback to £4.99. Thinking ahead, that would make a good stocking filler!
