Another year is nearly over and possibly, like me, you haven’t achieved all you intended. I’ve given up making resolutions and just keep in mind a few things I shall complete, or change, or try, during the coming year.
The priority is finishing those half-completed pieces of writing before tackling anything new: short stories, articles, poetry, essay collection, and even a novel and at least one novella. First, I like getting organised with a new diary and journal and sorting out my writing files and paper craft materials.
As a final little gift of 2023, you can download the first novella in my Victorian Maryanne Mystery series, Mischief at Mulberry Manor, from 30th December through 1st January, if you haven’t already read it. If you have, please feel free to let others know.
Victorian Novella with Romance and Ghost story set around Twelfth Night.
When Maryanne Robertson visits her cousins’ old manor house for the Twelfth Night Masked Ball in 1859, she does not expect to find the manor haunted, or to fall in love. But mischief is afoot and one of her cousins is missing as frost covers the ground.
Is the mischief caused by a ghostly presence or someone more human?
Enjoy the remainder of 2023 and thank you for your continued interest. Wishing you all the best for 2024.
